Hello, my name is Dr. Yvonne Durrant! I was born in the United Kingdom, grew up in Jamaica, West Indies, lived in NYC for over 20 years, and currently, resides in Georgia.

I am bless with two amazing boys. I pursued and attain a BSN degree. I later, in 2004, attained my MSN, and 2017 attained a PhD in Nursing Education and Administration. I have worked in many areas of the healthcare systems, such as hospitals, public health, long-term care, home health, and the educational arena. The areas I enjoyed the most were public health (over 7 years), medical surgical (3 years), critical care (2 years) and currently my first love education (15 years).  After weighing my options, I am working on the leadership team at a college here in Georgia. Everything I do revolves around how I can succeed to become a better person in life and to help people around me do the same.

At this time, my focus of interest is in healthcare programs, such as nursing assistant in every capacity. I have deep convictions about seeing people succeed. My entire journey is for individuals to become equipped with the right tools to become successful and productive in the area of expertise he or she chooses.

DYDTraining provides the Business Owners of Nursing Assistants an opportunity to experience a comprehensive, innovative, creative, and educational training platform to help each individual owner become successful and profitable with his or her own business. My mission is to create and deliver an organized, simple, easy to understand content platform that empowers, educates, informs, motivates, and inspires all business owners of Nursing Assistants to become successful without the research. 

This training platform offers relevant and current training. It also offers professional development opportunities which afford business owners the opportunity to learn how to run a dynamic Nursing Assistant program without the stress of researching and doing it alone. Dr. Durrant and others on the DYDTraining Team, keep ourselves relevant, visionaries, and trendsetters in the industry to insure that the training experience is superior, current, as well as consistent with the requirements of the State requirement-policies and procedures. 

My advice to business owners is “Never Give up on Your Dreams and Goals”. I say this because, I have never given up on mine. The bible is clear and it’s a book that I embrace and read on a regular basis. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
